FTC-1 Technical Camera - Preorder

This is a pre-order for the next run of FTC-1 bodies.

Estimated dispatch: 4–8 weeks from when this run sells out (often faster, but I’m padding the timeline so nobody gets disappointed).

I’ll send progress updates as production moves (and I’ll email you the tracking as soon as it ships).

Cancellation: you can cancel any time before dispatch for a full refund. After dispatch, returns are handled under my Warranty & Returns policy.

Duties / taxes: Prices exclude any import fees. Australia: GST is added at checkout. United States: duties are collected at checkout (DDP). Other countries: if checkout doesn’t collect them, you may be charged by customs/carrier on delivery.

What’s included

• FTC-1 camera body (approx. 1.1kg, including cone, helicoid and lens board)
• Acrylic groundglass (magnetic frame, includes fresnel)
• Rotating back with magnetic detents
• Integrated Arca-compatible base (1/4" tripod threads
• Lens cone + helicoid + lens board selected for your lens (see Buying & Using Guide)
  

What you’ll need (not supplied)

• Lens in shutter (typically Copal 0 / Copal 1)
• Film back (RB67 Pro / Pro S 6×7 backs only, or consider the new Identidem 6x7 back
• Additional lens cones if you want to shoot multiple lenses
• Full-field loupe
• Tripod (this is really a tripod-only camera)
• Cable release
• Camera strap (the Urth black ones are a terrific match for the body)

Film back compatibility: Fits RB67 Pro and RB67 Pro S 6×7 backs. Does not fit RB67 Pro SD backs. See the Buying & Using Guide for details.
