FTC-1 Lens Compatibility.

Use this table to compare lenses for the FTC-1, including flange focal distance, cone size, image circle and known clearance issues. When ordering, select your exact lens from the product page and I'll match the mounting parts.

Manufacturers sometimes changed a lens without changing its name very much. Check the notes for your version, especially with older Fujinons. The table brings together published specifications and measurements, but some entries still need confirmation.

Check a lens before ordering

1. Identify the exact version. Check the full name and markings on the lens, not just focal length and aperture. A front filter size can help identify a version, but does not prove rear-barrel clearance.
2. Measure the rear barrel. The widest part that passes through the standard focusing helicoid must be under 60mm, including the metal housing around the glass.
3. Check coverage and flange focal distance. Image circle determines how much movement is available. Flange focal distance determines the cone and helicoid combination; it is not always the same as the marked focal length.
4. Check the notes in the table. Published specifications, calculations and measurements are not interchangeable. If your version is uncertain, send me photographs of the front markings and rear barrel, with a diameter measurement, before buying a lens or ordering a cone.
